Higgsfield
What Higgsfield really sells, the real limits of its unlimited plans, credit expiry and refunds, and when it is worth paying for.
Higgsfield is mainly a reseller: it runs other companies' video models (Seedance, Kling, Wan, Gemini Omni Flash, Grok Imagine) behind one credit system, plus a few tools of its own. It is the loudest brand on social media and also draws the most complaints. Buy it only if you need many models in one place and will use an Unlimited window hard; otherwise go direct to Dreamina, Kling or Flow.

Plans and prices
Prices checked on 15 Oct 2026. Higgsfield's pricing page loads in the browser only and our research could not read it, so the figures below disagree with each other.

- On the 49 USD plan, one credit is worth about 0.049 USD.
- Krea says the pricing page defaults to annual billing. Check the toggle before you pay.
- Higgsfield's blog names the 49 USD plan as the cheapest with Seedance 2.5.

For comparison, the same 8 second 720p Seedance 2.5 clip costs about 1.85 USD at BytePlus API rates (0.231 USD per second).
Unlimited, in practice
"Unlimited" on Higgsfield is a set of short windows with caps, not a flat rate.
- Time boxed and per model. Windows last 1, 7, 14 or 33 days (some plan models 365 days). The clock starts when you activate and "does not reset at renewal". Promo Unlimited stops if your subscription lapses.
- Web app only. "Unlimited access applies only on higgsfield.ai." MCP, CLI, Canvas, presets, apps and studios always cost credits.
- Resolution and length caps. Seedance Unlimited is 480p and 720p only. Kling 3.0 and Wan 2.7 go up to 1080p at 8 s. Omni Flash up to 7 s. 4K is excluded.
- One at a time. 1 concurrent generation per format, on the standard queue. Credit jobs get the priority queue, and peak hours are throttled.
- Fair use. "Automation tools, scripting, credential sharing, and reselling access are strictly prohibited." Unusual use can be slowed or paused. No numeric cap is published.
When it is worth it
- Worth it if you want to compare several models side by side, you can spend a 7 day Unlimited window generating every day at 720p, and you work in the web app.
- Not worth it if you mostly use one model, need 1080p or 4K finals, want to automate, or make only a few clips a month. Going direct is simpler and the rules are clearer.
- One heavy user still calls Higgsfield the cheapest option. A team spending 35,000 USD a month moved to an API aggregator instead.
Your first video
Pick monthly billing and read the plan card
Switch the toggle to monthly, note which models have Unlimited on that plan, for how many days, and at what resolution.
Decide on the trial
The 1 day free trial needs a card and auto renews to Plus. Set a reminder to cancel if you only want to test.
Generate a 480p draft
Choose Seedance 2.5 at 480p (24 credits for 8 seconds) or an Unlimited model inside its window. Upload a first frame for anything that must match.
Finish only the keeper
Re-render the best draft at 720p. Re-rolls and upscales cost credits, so do not re-roll the final.
Gotchas
No refund on cancel
"Cancellation does not include a refund." Subscription credits expire at the end of the paid period, so cancelling early loses what is left.
- Credit expiry. Subscription credits expire at renewal; annual plans reset every 30 days. Packs, auto refill and boost credits expire 90 days after purchase. Subscription credits are spent first.
- Failed generations. Credits are "usually" refunded, but "Some models may not refund."
- Community complaints. On X, a "higgsfield is a scam" post got 3,500 likes and a cancel tutorial got 958. Users report an Unlimited start date moved twice after purchase, being charged again to fix an output that ignored the prompt, and no refund after a forgotten trial. These are individual reports.
- Paid praise. Higgsfield runs a Creator Partnership Program that gives creators credits. The Wan 3.0 "UNLIMITED" posts of 13 Oct 2026 appeared from 10 or more accounts within hours of the company post.
- Vietnam. Higgsfield publishes no country list; availability in Vietnam is not confirmed.
